The substance can be absorbed by the human body trough the gastroenteric path and by inhalation. The substance destroys eyes, skin and the respiratory system.

The substance decays at heating or in hot premises forming toxic gas. Enters strong into reaction with alkali and various metal powders. Water concentrations may be high in agricultural areas (0.01 mg/l). Bioaccumulation in the food chain can provide significant exposure for humans and wildlife.
